BOOKKEEPER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable entering of all financial transactions into property. management software (Onesite) & QuickBooks Payroll, and information return processing (W-2 & 1099).
  • Preparation of various reports using QuickBooks & Onesite.
  • Reconciliation of multiple bank account.
  • Communicating with property managers/vendors as to billing matters.
  • Working with outside accountants for company’s tax matters and returns.
  • Working directly with the owner to ensure smooth functioning of daily operations.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Perform periodic preparation & reviews of financial reports, budgets and other information.
  • Ensure compliance with the terms of all management & lease agreements, as well as with loan documents.
  • Evaluate and advise on financial impact of long range plans.
  • Make sound recommendations to enhance efficiency in accounting and reporting functions.
  • Monitor and maintain accuracy of general ledger. Make periodic tax filings & remittance.
  • Administer monthly ACH transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced with Onesite or comparable property management software.
  • At least 3-5 years of solid Bookkeeping experience.
  • BA or BS in Accounting Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Pro (all candidates will be tested).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Prior bookkeeping experience in Property Management in Washington State.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in concise and timely manner.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Be conscientious about achieving deadlines and has an accurate work product.
